Hand Therapy
Our hand therapy program provides comprehensive rehabilitation programs for patients with a variety of Hand and Upper Extremity disorders including fractures of the hand and upper extremities, acute and chronic orthopedic injuries, reconstructive surgery, tendon and nerve injuries, arthritis and connective tissue disorders, and carpel tunnel syndrome. Some of the treatments we offer are therapeutic exercise and functional activities, post operative protocols, sensory re-education, heat and cold modalities. All patients referred to our hand therapy program at Hamilton Physical Therapy undergo an evaluation from which an individualized plan of care and expected outcomes are established. Communication with the referring physician and appropriate case managers is provided through written progress reports throughout the treatment process.
Our Hand Therapy program is directed and staffed with Physical and Occupational therapists who have earned the recognition of Certified Hand Therapist.
The Hand Therapy Program is available in our Hamilton and Ewing offices.
